Peyton Rose Colvin was born on January 1, 2009 at 6:20 AM. She weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz. and was approximately 19.5 inches long. She has already claimed the nickname Diva from her Grandma Lawrence because of the pomp and circumstance in which she entered the world. Peyton received the honor of "New Year's Baby" from Sturdy Memorial Hospital and the Sun Chronicle- a local paper- and several hundred dollars in prizes. She even had the opportunity of riding home from the hospital in a stretch limo. Needless to say her first week of life is going to be the largest section in her scrapbook! We'll be sure to continue to update the blog with the latest Peyton happenings and pictures.

Linds, call me if you need to talk about anything... seriously. Or if you need to cry to someone... Thanks to the wonderful thing we like to call postpartum, I did a lot of that during the first month. I'm sure you're doing great, but I'm here in case you need anything. :D
